In The Sweet By and Bahai
Here’s a pic of my new church : )
Bahai gardens and temple in Israel
I took a quiz at Beliefnet.com that’s purpose was to connect you with the faith most appropriate to your beliefs.
Rankings:
1. Bahá’à Faith (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (98%)
3. Mahayana Buddhism (96%)
4. Liberal Quakers (92%)
5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (92%)
6. Jainism (86%)
7. Sikhism (86%)
8. Theravada Buddhism (86%)
9. Hinduism (82%)
10. Reform Judaism (80%)
11. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (77%)
12. Neo-Pagan (76%)
13. New Age (75%)
14. Orthodox Judaism (71%)
15. Taoism (69%)
16. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (69%)
17. New Thought (68%)
18. Islam (61%)
19. Scientology (59%)
20. Jehovah’s Witness (58%)
21. Secular Humanism (53%)
22. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (52%)
23. Orthodox Quaker (50%)
24. Seventh Day Adventist (38%)
25. Nontheist (38%)
26. Eastern Orthodox (36%)
27. Roman Catholic (36%)
Agnostics may even be interested in the quiz because it accounts for that, and for every question there is a science option. The quiz is very speedy; I was done in about a minute and a half.
It seems that one must be censored, even in their own domain.
Oh, that is too good! I think I shall jaunt on over and try it out.

Thanks for calling me a nutjob. I work next to the Baha’i gardens in Haifa. Though, when someone calls Roman Catholic “the most normal one” it definitly brings their concepts of terms like “nutjob” and “normal” into question… and then there’s the fact that you’re only 36% “normal”.
You could always check out some of those other 26, you might find something you like.

Actually, I wasn’t referring to Bahai, necessarily. I’ve looked into some Bahai stuff before and found that it was a pleasant religion. Not the one for me right now, but pretty cool. I was referring to the fact that nothing on my list was mainstream. I wasn’t even being serious when I said “nut job”, for that matter. Seriously, I was the one who answered the questions that arrived at these answers. What I was really thinking about was “Oh, my God! Scientology????” That’s freaky, man.
By the way, Ryan, as I am protestant, Catholic’s not all that normal to me either . . .
Although, my friend Epiphany is slowly bringing me around on that one. Slowly.

I guess I’m a crappy Catholic, because that one came in third place. Hmmm, to heck with it…I’m gonna stick with what I love.

Oh, and to Ryan…she was joking around…there was nothing personal about her comments.

One of my closest co-workers (Tavakkoli…from Iran) follows this religion. She’s told me all about it. VERY interesting!
